Calvert Brewing: Mortal DIPA
An extra hazy behemoth of an IPA that uses the freshest citra and mandarin bavarian hops possible. Above all, Mortal is juicy and citrusy, with a barage of sweet orange, balanced by intense hop flavor and ample bitterness.
Mortal IPA puts a spotlight on the talents and passions of our brewing team, led by Matt Ducey, while reminding our community that we are local and craft. For our local fans, we have the means of using the freshest ingredients possible to make an excellent beer that can be consumed just hours after it is finished. We still experiment every day, and the Mortal IPA is the result of more than two years of design, experimentation and endless tweaking to perfection. .
Mortal is released intermittently throughout the year and sold in extremely limited capacity.
This beer is best consumed as fresh as possible. If you can’t make it to the taproom on the next release, we’ll post a list of bars and restaurants where you can get it.
